Earlier this week, South Africa national team coach Hugo Broos announced his final 23-man squad for the upcoming international friendlies against Guinea and reigning world champions, France."He is the one who is very, very aggressive. He recovers the ball, he is strong and so we missed him a little bit.
"We saw also in some of our other games that our midfield was a little bit light. When I see the guys of Orlando Pirates playing, there is power.– there is power. So we were looking for that and therefore I was happy that he [Mvala] did so well in the Champions League. "So I said, 'Okay, this is your moment.' They have their chance and now it's up to them to prove and to show what I think they can show. If they can, then I think our midfield will be stronger than before."
