According to court documents obtained by In Touch, on November 19, Griffin, 53, responded to Foster’s divorce petition that had been filed the previous month. Foster, 49, then replied to the counterclaims on December 5. There has been no movement in the case since Foster filed her response, per the court docket.
After Foster’s initial marriage to fellow Broadway star Christian Borle from 2006 to 2009, Foster began a relationship with the screenwriter and the pair tied the knot in 2014. They went on to welcome daughter Emily three years later. News broke in October that Foster filed to end her marriage to Griffin just days before their 10th wedding anniversary; the next month, Us Weekly confirmed she was in a relationship with Jackman, 56. Rumors began swirling of the couple’s romance when gossip blogger Tasha Lustig alleged on her Instagram that Jackman “blindsided” ex-wife Deborra-lee Furness by “running off with the mistress.” (Jackman and Furness, 69, announced their split in 2023.)
