After Auburn’s second preseason scrimmage, head coach Hugh Freeze gave an update on who was able to play. The most notable recent additions to the injury report are Keldric Faulk and Jalen McLeod. Faulk, the hyped freshman defensive end, was seen wearing the yellow non-contact uniform duringFreeze did not specify exactly what injury either are dealing with.Koy Moore and Malcolm Johnson Jr.
Freeze said Moore’s injury happened during summer workouts, but he has been “getting closer” to returning to practice. The more notable new name on the injury report of the wide receiver group is Cincinnati transfer Nick Mardner. Freeze did not state what injury he was dealing with, but Mardner has been seen practicing earlier this week.Wide receiver Camden Brown who had been dealing with “bad luck” throughout fall camp, Freeze said, was able to play in the scrimmage. He has practiced each of the last few days leading up to Saturday.
