The program will ensure unobstructed access to participating residents’ properties for emergency services as well as allow the residents to safely leave their homes for essential needs like medical treatment and prescription pick-up.
HUDSON , Ohio -- The city of Hudson is introducing a new residential driveway plowing Program for the 2024-2025 winter season to help residents 65 and older and adults with disabilities.
To qualify for the service, Hudson residents must be 65 or older by Dec. 31 or be an adult with disabilities living in a household without an able-bodied individual. They must also meet the household exemption criteria set by the Summit County Fiscal Office.for the program will be accepted from Sept. 3 - 20 and will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Approved applicants will receive vouchers by Oct. 31, which they can use to schedule driveway plowing services with a contractor.
