Q2 2024 mobile network performance data, collected between 1 April and 30 June 2024, revealed that Huawei outperformed its peers.
Huawei also achieved the highest average peak upload speed of 31 Mbps, slightly ahead of Ericsson and Nokia.Huawei is the only mobile network vendor that has a partnership with all South African mobile networks. MTN uses three mobile network vendors — Huawei, Ericsson, and ZTE. This is a big change from its early days when it used only Ericsson equipment.
