Houston police investigate a drive-by shooting which injured two men outside a residence in southeast Houston on April 29, 2022Two men were injured Friday night during a drive-by shooting outside of a
residence in southeast Houston, according to police.
Officers responded to the shooting around 8:35 p.m. at the 6800 block of Ridgeway Drive and found two men with gunshot wounds, police said. Both of the men were transported to a local hospital, one in critical condition while the other had non-life threatening injuries and is expected to survive. Witnesses told investigators there was a gathering outside of the home when two vehicles, a white Durango and a black sedan, pulled up and began shooting, HPD Cmdr. "Based on some evidence that we collected at the scene, we know that one of the suspects in the first vehicle, got out of his vehicle and discharged his firearm at the males in front of this house," Hardy said."The second vehicle discharged firearms from the vehicle in the direction of the males out front."
There is no other descriptions of the suspects at this time as investigators continue gathering evidence from the scene, HPD added.
