The officers were shot at after they were trying to approach one of the suspects who was wanted on multiple charges, including deadly conduct and theft.
WALLER COUNTY, Texas — Two armed suspects were flown to the hospital on Tuesday after they were shot by officers in Waller County, according to theHPD said officers had spent the day looking for one of the suspects who was wanted for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, deadly conduct, theft and unlawfully carrying a weapon.
The officers thought they could safely get the suspect into custody by blocking the Dodge Charger with their vehicles -- a marked patrol vehicle and two unmarked vehicles. When the suspect spotted the officers, he and the other man inside his vehicle got out and started shooting at the officers, HPD said.
