Howard Stern bashed singers Kid Rock and Travis Tritt for their response to TikTok star Dylan Mulvaney’s partnership with Bud Light.Kid Rock went viral on TikTok for shooting a stack of Bid Lights following the news of Bud Lights’ partnership with influencer Dylan Mulvaney.“F–k Bud Light, and f–k Anheuser-Busch,” the rocker can be heard saying in the clip.
“Kid Rock, I know him. He’s got a great life. He transitioned from some kid in Michigan to a rock superstar! I’m really dumbfounded by why someone would care so much that they would blow up a can of Bud Light and say, ‘F— Anheuser-Busch.’I don’t get it,” Stern said.
“From time to time, we produce unique commemorative cans for fans and for brand influencers, like Dylan Mulvaney. This commemorative can was a gift to celebrate a personal milestone and is not for sale to the general public,” a spokesperson from the company said.“We reached out to a handful of A-B [Anheuser-Busch] distributors who were spooked, most particularly in the Heartland and the South, and even then in their more rural areas,” a Beer Business Daily report noted.
Mulvaney is extremely popular among Gen Z — a demographic that beer companies are “desperate” to reach, according to the publication.
