How X’s Revenue Share program compares with YouTube, Twitch and TikTok
, Twitter – or X as it now hopes to be called – launched Ads Revenue Sharing. This revenue share program promises to give creators a percentage of the earnings derived from advertising that appears in threads they pen.Set up payouts from within Monetization to get paid for posting.
This is important as rather than giving creators a share of all advertising, they will only receive advertising revenue based on the number of Twitter Blue subscribers who have seen advertising below their post. It’s unclear what percentage of Twitter’s user base subscribes to the premium subscription package.Be subscribed to Twitter Blue or Verified Organisations,Have at least 500 followers.How does this compare to other platforms creators can earn money on? In a word, poorly.
