Brock Cunningham's Texas teammates weren't quick to warm up to him. But once they did, they quickly realized how valuable he's been to the Longhorns' success.AUSTIN — Truth be told, Timmy Allen initially couldn’t stand his new teammate. This wasn’t at all unusual, either.
“He’s a good dude,” said Allen, who transferred to Texas in 2021 after his junior year at Arizona. “He cares for his teammates.” “He’s just tough. He’s real tough. My first practice, I’m the freshman coming in so he’s gonna check me a little bit, give me a little bump. He’s gonna test you when you first come in.”
