The House committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol will be holding what may be the last public hearing as it wraps up its investigation into fmr. Pres. Trump and his influence as he refused to acknowledge the results of the 2020 election.
The hearings included bombshell revelations about Trump's reaction to the Jan. 6 attack. Former White House aideat a hearing announced at the last minute that she heard the Secret Service discussing that Trump had tried to grabbed the steering wheel of the presidential vehicle to get to the Capitol. Trump has denied that claim and has even mocked it at rallies since then.
"I couldn't believe that we were arguing over this in the middle of the West Wing .. And so, I motioned up at the TV and said, 'Do you think it looks like we're f'ing winning? Because I don't think it does,'" Matthews said.
