presenter Michael Usher and former BBC royal correspondent Angela Rippon bring you all the coronation pomp and pageantry.After 6pm 7NEWS bulletins on Saturday, coverage of the King’s Procession to Westminster Abbey will begin from 7pm until late on Channel 7 and 7plus, while Melbourne viewers will shift to 7two from 7.30pm.
Michael and Angela will broadcast from Buckingham Palace, while Kochie and Victoria will be positioned at Westminster Abbey, where the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend Justin Welby, will conduct the official Church of England service. The live broadcast, in association with the BBC, will cover all ceremonial events throughout the day, providing audiences with a front-row seat to the procession and inside the Abbey, before the newly crowned monarchs are presented to the public for the first time from the famed balcony of Buckingham Palace.
