The third major of the season gets underway at Torrey Pines on Thursday with Jon Rahm as the bookmakers' favorite.
The world No. 3, Rahm is a 10-1 favorite to win at Torrey Pines, a course where he won the Farmers Insurance Open in 2017 and finished second last year. The Spaniard arrives at the tournament in great form—he led the Memorial Tournament by six strokes after three rounds earlier this month, only to be sidelined by a positive coronavirus test.

It marks the second time that the traditional home of the Farmers Insurance Open has hosted the U.S. Open.
Viewers won't have to change on Saturday, when all the action will be broadcast by NBC. There are several ways to follow the U.S. Open online, via Peacock— NBC's streaming platform—the NBC Sports website, the U.S. Open website and the U.S. Open app. Notably,will have exclusive coverage throughout the first two rounds, which will differ from the offering available on the NBC Sports website, which will carry the NBC TV coverage instead.
