Former Liverpool star Luis Suarez will bid farewell to playing for Uruguay this week. The 37-year-old recently announced his retirement from international football and will play his final match against Paraguay. Suarez spent three-and-a-half years with Liverpool from 2011-14, during which time he scored 82 goals in 133 appearances.
Suarez announced earlier this week that he would be retiring from international football with Uruguay. His final fixture comes against Paraguay in a World Cup qualifier, although a current Liverpool player will not be involved. Darwin Nunez misses the fixture through suspension after being handed a five-game ban by CONMEBOL earlier this summer. As a result, the Reds striker will not be involved in what is set to be Suarez's final match for Uruguay.
