McIngvale stated that he has a leaky mitral valve in his heart and will have to undergo a four-hour open heart surgery on Tuesday, Dec. 10 at Methodist Hospital in the Texas Medical Center.After surgery, he says he is expected to be in the hospital for at least a week and then recovering at home for two to three weeks.
