How to make creamy mayonnaise if you’ve run out - and you only need three ingredients
WITH stockpilers leaving supermarket shelves empty, many of us are struggling to get hold of some of the most basic ingredients.
However, for those unable to get their hands on a jar of Hellmann’s fear not, this simple recipe means that you can create your own mayonnaise with just three ingredients.My Kids Lick the Bowl has shared the recipe which will make enough to fill a small jar, so just double, triple or quadruple the quantities if you wish to make more.
All you will need is one egg, vegetable oil, lemon juice or white wine vinegar and you can add a pinch of salt to taste.Using a tall electric whisk, blend the ingredients together on a high setting until it resembles mayonnaise.
