The SAG/Actor Awards began in 1995 and nominations come from members of the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, also known as SAG-AFTRA. SAG-AFTRA members nominate and vote for their peers, so winning an Actor Award can be extra meaningful for a performer. In short, the Actor Awards are by actors, for actors, and if you win one, you're typically more likely to snag the Oscar too! Previously, the SAG/Actor Awards aired on the cable TV networks TNT and TBS, but they've since shifted over to Netflix. The ceremony takes place on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. The show begins at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. How can I watch the Actor Awards? You'll need a Netflix membership or login to stream the show this year, as the SAG/Actor Awards and Netflix have a multi-year partnership. Kristen Bell will host for a third time. Who is nominated for the Actor Awards?
