Yoshinobu Yamamoto pitched seven scoreless innings of three-hit ball in his Yankee Stadium debut, his velocity reaching a season high. Anthony Banda, Blake Treinen, Daniel Hudson, Michael Grove and Yohan Ramírez finished up to earn the Dodgers the win.
Despite Ohtani recent struggles due to back and hamstring issues, they are on a roll. Ohtani went 0 for 5 and was repeatedly booed in Friday night’s game and is hitting .195 with three homers and 10 RBIs since May 16, dropping his season average from .364 to .312.
