Los Angeles rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers are going to playon April 7 in support of its new album, “Unlimited Love.”
Amoeba announced on its website on Wednesday that fans who purchase the album on L.A. limited-edition vinyl in-store when it’s released on April 1 will receive a ticket and a limited-edition commemorative poster. There will also be an exclusive Amoeba x RHCP pop-up shop celebrating “Unlimited Love” located at the Melrose Trading Post at Fairfax High School from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 3.
The band, which formed in Los Angeles in 1983, will also receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame during a ceremony on March 31. “Unlimited Love” is the band’s 12th studio album and reunites longtime members – vocalist Anthony Kiedis, bassist Flea and drummer Chad Smith – with guitarist John Frusciante, who rejoined the band in 2019 after 10 years away.
