My daughter’s school doesn’t go back until September so I will need to pay for childcare - can I claim back costs? You would need to speak to your after-school and holiday club in order to get a refund for any fees you paid for childcare that didn’t take place. They don’t have to refund you - but it’s worth asking if you are struggling.If you paid via credit card or debit card you could ask your bank to help you get a refund.
One million people are already receiving it and by the time the system is fully rolled out in 2023, nearly 7 million will be on it.
