Invest in a silk wrap or pillowcase Speaking of taking every opportunity to hydrate your hair, Jackson recommends upping your beauty sleep game and investing in some nighttime accessories that will boost moisture. “Get yourself a silk or satin bonnet or a silk pillow case,” says Jackson. At bedtime, she advises applying your favourite natural oil from your scalp to your ends before popping on your head wrap. This will help to hydrate your scalp and hair so you wake up with smooth strands.
