Alex Rainey has created an online service for people seeking 1 week Fast Tack or Online Premium appointments, as chaos at Passport Office continues
Alex Rainey created the passport appointment booking system with his newborn daughter, Olive, sleeping on his chest are still causing havoc and stress for prospective travellers, with a backlog of more than 550,000 passports waiting to be processed at the end of June.
The idea emerged after Mr Rainey’s twin brother frantically tried to get his child’s first passport before a holiday, checking the Government site randomly for three weeks with no luck. He had booked a family holiday to Spain in August, but feared they would not be able to go if forced to wait 10 weeks for a standard passport application to be processed.
