XL Fleet is committed to detailed, robust reporting on ESG and impact. We have the ability to track meaningful ESG data for our customers in a very tangible way through XL Link, our proprietary, cloud-based vehicle connectivity platform. Collecting millions of operational data points, XL Link provides actionable intelligence on key fleet electrification metrics, including speed, idling, drive cycle efficiency and Co2 emissions reduction.

Even if supporting regulation proves to be less radical or impactful, I don’t believe it will set us back. Things are moving in the right direction; original equipment manufacturers have made commitments, there’s growing demand in the industry and there are strong commitments on the charging side. The infrastructure plan is a great way to support that effort, but I think the demand is now at a point where it can grow organically even if there is less regulation.
