, so when the heavens opened at Royal Ascot on day two of the royal meeting on Wednesday, she simply opened up one of her many trusted umbrellas.
A family business, Fulton’s used to supply the Queen Mother with umbrellas back in the 80s. The Queen Mother wanted a see-through umbrella and asked the company to make a clear plastic one for her. Since then, the iconic brollies have become a staple in royal wardrobe.who was seen sporting one today. But the Queen has the biggest collection by far, with over 100 umbrellas.Fulton’s owner has been custom-making umbrellas for the royals for decades.
