Does The Flash make any difference to DC's new universe?
's final few scenes, it's not entirely clear which timeline Barry has ended up in. Everything seems back to normal, at first – there's a note from Iris in his apartment, exactly where he left her earlier in the film, and his dad's court hearing is still scheduled for the next day.
But, as we know, Barry has still returned to a slightly-altered timeline, where his careful rearranging of tomato cans in the grocery store meant that the security camera captured his father's face, thus securing his alibi and proving that he wasn't at home when his mother was killed.
