The meeting was run by a coalition of the region's key organisations including the Kimberley Land Council. Mr Dodson told the crowd racism towards Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people had become worse over the past two decades."The capacity to intimidate people and to tell lies and to mislead people and use social media is far more sophisticated."Mr Dodson, a leading Aboriginal activist who retired from politics in January after a lifetime fighting for reconciliation, said the future rested on emerging young leaders.
