Summary Presumed Innocent showrunner David E. Kelley has explained how the cliffhanger ending to episode 7 will impact the upcoming season finale of the legal drama. During Presumed Innocent episode 7, Tommy returns home near the end of the episode to discover someone has broken in. At the very end of the scene, he discovers a fire poker with a note attached to it on his counter, seemingly the missing murder weapon used to kill Carolyn Polhemus.
Speaking with TVLine, Kelley explained how the cliffhanger ending to Presumed Innocent episode 7 is going to impact the season finale now that Tommy has his hands on Carolyn's murder weapon.
