But In the game, rookie guard Bronny James made his first-ever road game debut, showing a shift in thinking from the Lakers.Initially, Los Angeles was only allowing the rookie to play in home games within the G League. But the team decided that James would suit up for this game in Phoenix.
Even with all the outside noise coming at him, James has continued to put his head down and just play basketball. The rookie even spoke about his desire to learn everything and get better with each day.'I think it's good,' James said. 'Just game by game, just trying to learn everything that I can. Always just staying aggressive and playing my game. Playing for my teammates and the coaches. It's been good.
