This has been a constructors’ championship built on a team unity that has paved the way for Red Bull’s greatest F1 success to date.
Red Bull has won constructors’ titles before in comfortable fashion, and even seen a driver — Sebastian Vettel in 2011 and 2013 — display something like the kind of record-breaking performances Verstappen has put on this year.
“The car has been more dominant this year — apart from Singapore, but in all the other races, we’ve had a really, really good car,” Verstappen said, adding it had become “a bit more predictable and just nicer to drive.” It’s, allowing him to reach new heights with a record 10 straight wins and sweep toward a third world title.
“Everybody is invested in one thing and that’s the car. To produce the kind of car we have and achieve these kinds of results is an incredible performance.”
