With the Baylor game hanging in the balance, with Texas’ hope of playing in the Big 12 championship game fading, Sarkisian put the ball in the hands of the program’s two most-respected players. “I just showed them my gratitude, told them how thankful I am to be in this spot, for us to go out with a win in my last game here at DKR,” Johnson said. “I told them I’m proud of the way that we came back from last year after the Kansas game, how I addressed things and ultimately set the mindset going forward.”
