Apple's accessories business has been instrumental to its revenue growth, and it can build on this with MagSafe for iPhone and a new lineup of AirPods
Apple's new line of MagSafe-enabled iPhones and the anticipated next generation of AirPods will help drive revenue growth in its accessories business.
The iPhone 12 lineup features MagSafe, helping Apple upsell users on a range of compatible accessories. MagSafe refers to a magnetic dock on the back of the new iPhones that allows users to easily attach and detach compatible devices. And since MagSafe also features a near-field communication chip, an iPhone 12 can recognize which accessory is attached and respond accordingly. $39 MagSafe Chargers, $49 MagSafe iPhone cases, and a $59 MagSafe leather wallet.
