Season 2 of the Apple TV+ murder mystery comedy series takes place during a wedding, with each episode from a different character's perspective.
Well, you know, I did a Quibi show back when that was around. So, I was used to shooting vertical stuff as well. My approach to it, as weird as it sounds, is like I treated it as seriously as if it were one of the other film genres. One of my big pet peeves is when I see iPhone footage in a movie or TV show and it doesn't look like real iPhone footage, it looks like it was shot with an Alecia or something. It's just a lot slicker.
Why The Afterparty Season 2, Episode 8 Used iPhone Footage The murder mystery comedy series uses different genres and styles of storytelling for each of its episodes, which are all told from the perspectives of different characters. For example, season 2, episode 3, "Travis," has the episode's title character explain his point of view of the wedding as a crime drama.
