Here's how the Tide spent its off day as the Women's College World Series continued.
“She’s like, ‘You have practice from 9:30 to 11 ,’” Murphy said. “I was like ‘No we don’t, we’re not gonna do that,’”
Instead of an intense practice ahead of another elimination matchup on Sunday, this one against either Florida or Texas, Murphy kept things easy. It started with a recovery stretch, a bit of weight training, plus some cardio. After the Longhorns and Gators got done, Murphy planned to have the group back in the building for a film session. The Tide will play the loser of that game at 2 p.m. CT Sunday, hoping to keep its postseason dreams alive for another day.
