Alabama went to work and battled back, winning in the ninth inning with a walk-off, three-run homerun from Will Hodo to beat the Buckeyes 12-10. Pitcher Aidan Moza entered for Beau Bryans with two outs in the fourth inning and immediately gave up a three-run home run. Then Moza struck out the next pitcher and rolled from there. In the fourth inning, Moza struck out two of three batters. In the sixth inning, he struck out three more. Then Tate Robertson replaced Moza in the seventh inning and closed out the game. Moza struck out six of nine batters faced, allowing one hit and one earned run. Robertson struck out four of 10 batters, allowing one hit but no earned runs.
