In “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” Tenoch Huerta Mejía’s big moment required two minutes without breathing. The actor shot the scene while submerged in a massive water tank, where he mouthed the lines to a speech by his superpowered character, the ruler of an undersea kingdom rallying his people for battle.
Perched on a throne 10 feet down, Mr. Huerta performed multiple takes while ignoring his body’s craving for oxygen.
