Scattered showers were possible north of I-10, while sea fog was forecasted near the coast. Temperatures were in the 60s across the region.The day will be warm and cloudy, and there could be isolated showers around the area in the morning. The chances of precipitation are highest north of I-10. Temperatures were predicted to be warmer, near 80 degrees, close to the coast. Areas north of Houston will be cooler, closer to 70 degrees.
The weekend will begin with a new warming trend, with highs reaching into the mid-80s in Houston. A cold front is forecasted to reach the area on Sunday. The front shouldn't bring much rain, but after it passes, Monday could actually be cooler than normal for March. But don't expect that to last long. Things will warm up again on Wednesday, and a storm system could produce widespread rain late Thursday into Friday.
