People visiting Houston this weekend could experience a full gamut of Gulf Coast weather...

Skies will be cloudy and it will feel muggy, according to forecasters. Isolated showers are possible across the region. Low temperatures will be in the 70s or 60s.A cold front will move through the region in the evening, and low temperatures will vary greatly after it passes. Some places in the southeast Texas will drop into the 40s and other places will stay in the mid-60s.

There is a chance for severe weather, especially in the region north of College Station and Livingston. The storms could produce damaging wind gusts and hail.Saturday will be warm and dry, with highs in the low-to-mid-80s. It will be cooler again on Saturday night, below 60 degrees in some places, and then warm up again to the 80s on Sunday.

The start of the new work week will be even warmer. The weather service forecasts a high temperature of 89 degrees in Houston on Monday and a high temperature of 88 degrees on Tuesday. The hot weather could be cooled down by some mid-week storms.
