Trucks are lining up at neighborhood depositories across the city as residents take advantage of the free drop-off service to clear storm debris left by Hurricane Beryl. With six locations available, people are finding it easier than ever to dispose of their waste.

– Trucks are lined up on Central Street waiting to unload their garbage, mostly storm debris . The location is one of six neighborhood depositories.“Why did you guys come out here,” KPRC 2′s Rilwan Balogun asked.

“I didn’t want to wait,” Bandor said. “I want to get rid of it. It’s easier to get rid of it. If I knew it was open before, I would have done it before. This is a lot easier.” The depositories are free for residents to use. People must bring their ID and proof of residency . People are required to live within city limits to use it. People are limited to four drop-offs per month, according to the city.
