The first phase of the 2,400 community southwest of Houston is expected to open in 2024.

Construction is expected to begin this year on the 2,400-home community with the first phase of homes complete in 2024. “As one of the largest master-planned communities in Rosenberg, Brookewater will be essential in meeting the demand for lot inventory and top-tier residential amenities for Houston’s rapidly growing population,” Witte said.Witte said Hines and its partners were interested in Rosenberg because of its access to Houston via U.S. 59, its location within the Lamar Consolidated Independent School District and the strong homebuyer demand in the area.
