John Nsenguwera, 18, Mohamed Robinson, 17, and Mahamoudou Sylla, 18, have been charged in connection with the robbery and clash with police near Wisdom High School.

Officers apprehended Robinson at the complex, while Sylla ran away and went to his school at 6529 Beverly Hill — about a mile from the apartment complex. The lockdown was reported around 1:30 p.m. By then, Sylla had made his way to an auditorium with about 100 of his peers. He was taken into custody without incident. Authorities searched for a gun but none was found, Lopez said.
Nsenguwera, whose role in the robbery was not immediately clear, was out on a cashless bond at the time of the shooting. He is not listed as a co-defendant to Robinson or Syllah.
