Man found fatally shot in the middle of the street in SW Houston, police say

Houston police officers responded to a shooting at 12100 Sandpiper and found the deceased man lying in the street, Lt. Larry Crowson said.Jason Stilwell

Residents in nearby apartments called 911 after hearing the gunfire, looking outside and seeing the man suffering from gunshot wounds, according to Crowson. A black or dark-colored sedan, possibly being driven by the suspect, was seen fleeing the scene, Crowson said.
