Clouds remain for Wednesday with dry weather before rain and storms return Thursday.
HOUSTON — Cloudy weather and mild temperatures are on the agenda for Wednesday. Despite the clouds, conditions are expected to remain dry. Overnight into Thursday however, showers and storms will overspread Southeast Texas. Locally heavy downpours are possible tomorrow, with a few strong storms possible as well. This off and on rain will linger through Thursday night before conditions gradually clear on Friday.
A few strong to severe storms are possible during the day and again overnight into Friday as a final wave of storms arrive. Strong damaging winds, some hail, and an isolated tornado are all possible with any storms that become severe.Weather will start to gradually clear on Friday with high temperatures in the mid 70s. That nice weather will continue into the start of the weekend, with sunny and warm weather expected Saturday. More clouds return Sunday, but conditions are expected to remain dry.
