Love is in the air, it sure is sweet! This Valentine’s Day, Houston ’s bakeries and chocolatiers serve up romantic sugary delights, decadent artisan chocolates, heart-shaped pastries and more. Whether you're treating your love or pampering yourself, these local spots have everything you need to make the day extra indulgent.

Heart boxes of fine chocolates, luxury gift towers, macarons and limited edition dark chocolate, pistachio and berry bars are all a part of the Valentine's collection at this artisan chocolate shop. On Valentine’s Day, Badolina will have small chocolate heart mouse cakes and individual heart cakes. The whole cake is 7 inches and is $50 plus tax and available for preorder. The individual heart cakes will be $10 plus tax available in the pastry case.

The luxury chocolatier offers gorgeously crafted chocolate gift boxes, with bright, bold creations from jewel-toned cardamom rose chocolate to the five-spice praline.Grab gourmet liquor-filled chocolates, from the fan-favorite Carajillo filled with espresso and Licor 43 to chocolates kissed with bourbon, mezcal, and cognac at this chocolate speakeasy.

The new Bundtlet flavor is the Chocolate Covered Strawberry, a twist on the classic Strawberries & Cream cake coated with a Ghirardelli hard-shell premium wafer and topped with heart-shaped sprinkles, available February 3–16. A rebrand fo the iconic Chocolate Bar, this local sweet shop specializes in chocolate-focused cakes, cookies, ice creams, and sweet treats, from Texas-made truffles and caramels to Holiday Crunch to Texas Frito Brittle.
