Shortly after, Laura Downing, Uvalde Consolidated ISD PTO Secretary, emailed him, asking him to bring some joy to the city. “The Uvalde CISD PTO works hard to enhance and support the educational experience of all students in Uvalde, so when we came across the Express Children’s Theatre, we knew it would be a perfect fit,” says Downing. “We are so excited to bring these talented artists to perform for the children and provide them with an entertaining and memorable experience! We are very grateful for their incredible generosity.

Fried-Fiori organized as many fellow artists as he could to provide the day of performances, refusing payment and securing funding through donations made on the Express website, which is still open for interested parties.
