Sundance Head—whose real name is Jason Head—was taken to a hospital by Life Flight after suffering a gunshot wound in his stomach area. He was scheduled to be taken in for immediate surgery upon landing, but doctors determined that the bullet did not need to be removed, as reported by Misty Head, his wife, on“I’m sure she said why , but my head is in a fog right now. Him being on the bigger side was a good thing. Bullet is in his fatty tissue,” the post read.
Misty added that the bullet entered above his naval and lodged into his abdominal wall, which saved him from injuries to his vital organs.Sundance Head is recovering from a gunshot wound to the stomach/navel area in a Tyler, TX hospital after being airlifted from his ranch while hunting. The bullet is lodged in a fatty area of the stomach, and no surgery is scheduled at this time. He is stable, and we are waiting on further details of this accident.
