SPRING, Texas — Barbecue lovers in the Houston area do not have to go far to try some of the best in the country, according to a list ofAccording to Yelp, the Spring joint came in at No. 2 on their list with almost 1,000 five-star reviews. They were second only to Wright’s Barbecue in Johnson, Ark.
Owners of CorkScrew, Nichole and Will Buckman, source all their meat from small family farms, some of which are exclusive to them, according the report. The review listed CorkScrew’s pulled pork; pork or beef ribs; brisket ; turkey breast; and The Bowl as the most popular dishes. Typically, those interested in trying CorkScrew will likely find a line or some items popular menu items selling out - which is normal. Being featured on this list is likely not going to help that.CorkScrew BBQ is located at 26608 Keith Street in Spring. They are open Wednesday through Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. or until they sell out. They are closed on Monday, Tuesday and Sunday.
