“We are told this unplanned surge in migration will cure our worker shortage crisis, yet our leaders have the tools to begin to tackle Australia’s unprecedented worker shortage via simple and effective reforms, such as cutting red-tape to allow our pensioners, veterans, and students to work,” Mr Wild said.
However University of NSW’s senior lecturer in city planning Dr Laura Crommelin said it would be unrealistic to rely on smaller regional cities to solve the housing problems.
