During a heated verbal spat on “The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip,” Glanville insensitively brought up Russell Armstrong’s 2011 suicide.
Brandi Glanville knows how to hit below the belt.
During a heated discussion about their early days on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” Taylor, 51, and Glanville, 49, argued over whether the Bravo reality show was more successful before the latter joined the cast in Season 2. The camera quickly turned away as the audio was briefly cut out – an attempt from production to omit her offensive statement. Russell committed suicide in August 2011, two months after Taylor filed for divorce.
“Brandi just went way too low,” Vicki Gunvalson said, while Tamra Judge opined, “Now she’s just throwing s—t.” And Dorinda Medley – who is also a widow after her husband, Richard Medley, died in November 2011 – asserted, “She’s weaponizing death.”Meanwhile, Phaedra Parks was the only one who wasn’t all that shocked. She suggested that Taylor should have expected such a vicious attack.
Back at the table, Medley, 57, asked Glanville why she mentioned Russell’s death in her verbal spat with Taylor. But the “Hiding from Reality” author maintained that she was “not coming” for Glanville. Rather, Taylor insisted she was only trying to illustrate how her onscreen adversary negatively impacted the “Beverly Hills” dynamic back in the day.
