The resolution condemning anti-Semitism, drafted by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other top Democrats, doesn’t name Minnesota Democrat Ilhan Omar, who has repeatedly come under fire for remarks critical of U.S. policy toward Israel
WASHINGTON—The House of Representatives is set to vote Wednesday on a Democratic resolution condemning anti-Semitism, an implicit rebuke to a freshman lawmaker whose criticism of U.S. policy toward Israel has prompted accusations of anti-Semitism.
The resolution drafted by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other top Democrats doesn’t name Minnesota Democrat Ilhan Omar, but condemns “the myth of dual loyalty, including allegations that Jews should be suspected of being disloyal neighbors or citizens.”
