THE House of Representatives will approve the proposed P5.768-trillion 2024 national budget on third and final reading before Congress goes on break next week.
Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez announced this after President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. certified the bill as urgent.'We appreciate President Marcos' leadership and his prioritization of the national budget.
His decision to certify this crucial legislation as urgent reflects his unwavering commitment to the welfare and progress of our nation,' the House chief said.'We will continue to uphold the principles of accountability, inclusivity, and efficiency throughout the budget deliberations,' Romualdez assured the public.The certification allows the House to approve the bill on second and third reading on the same day.
